No fibre where you live? You are not waiting for it. You are outside the plan.
Ofcom collected the build plans of every UK network operator for the next three years. Add it all up and 1,471,838 homes still have no gigabit connection scheduled by 2029. Find out where your area stands.
We show what your area gets, not your exact address. No operator can be looked up by address outside their own checker.

Your three real options
Ranked by how often they work when fibre is off the table.
4G home broadband
10–60 Mbps typical
Works almost anywhere with a decent mobile signal, including places fibre will never reach. Unlimited plans from around £20 a month.
5G home broadband
100–500 Mbps typical
Fibre-class speed without a fibre line, but only inside 5G coverage. The price sits close to 4G, so check it first.

Why we do not have an address checker
Ofcom stopped naming operators in its postcode data in 2020 for commercial confidentiality reasons, and the databases that do name them are sold to telecoms wholesalers, not to websites. Any site claiming to know exactly what is live at your front door is either paying for a feed it cannot show you, or guessing.
We show what your area gets, then send you to the provider's own checker for the binding answer. That check is free, and it is the only one that ever counts.
